For the first 16 years of my career, I served as CMO advisor & marketing strategist at B2B marketing agencies Protocol B2B, Bulldog Solutions & The MX Group. During that time, I noticed CMOs were obsessed with "needing and doing more" — more budget, people, events, content, emails, and leads.
